History

Oakville St. Mary's Cemetery. Originally 5 acres was donated to the Town of Oakville in 1858 by George K. Chisholm, the first mayor of Oakville. William Chisholm, the founder of Oakville, is interred in the burial grounds with many other members of the Chisholm family.
