History

Built during the early 1870s for Jeremiah Hagaman who was considered a “carriage maker of distinction” and established a carriage factory in Oakville. Hagaman was one of the first commercial cultivators of strawberries in Oakville, a local politician and one of Oakville’s first councillors.
