Remembrance Day 2026 in Oakville: a parade to George's Square, and ceremonies at Bronte and the Trafalgar Memorial
Three ceremonies are planned: a Royal Canadian Legion walk to the Bronte cenotaph on Sunday, November 8, and on Wednesday, November 11 a parade to George's Square and a ceremony at the Trafalgar Memorial in Memorial Park.

The three ceremonies
- The Bronte Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion walks from 79 Jones Street to the Chris Vokes Memorial Park cenotaph, starting at 10:30 a.m.; the ceremony follows from 10:50 a.m. to noon.
- A parade leaves Oakville Trafalgar Community Centre, 325 Reynolds Street, at 10:30 a.m. for George's Square, where the ceremony follows. The Town livestreams it on its YouTube channel.
- A ceremony at the Trafalgar Memorial in Memorial Park, from 10:50 a.m. to noon.
Other ways to mark the day
The Town encourages residents to wear a poppy and donate to the Poppy Fund, to observe two minutes of silence at 11 a.m. on November 11 wherever they are, and to share thanks online with #OakvilleRemembers. It points to the Royal Canadian Legion's website for further ceremony details.
