History

Known as Knox Presbyterian Church Sixteen. Mr. Thriller and Mrs. Thompson donated ¼ of an acre on which the church was to be built. Another ¼ acre was purchased for the purpose of burying grounds. The builder had to find all material and build on the bank of the Sixteen Mile Creek. The church is associated with the area once known as the Sixteen Hollow community.

Heritage attributes

Gothic Revival style with heavy buttresses on the front and along the sides of the building. Features include pointed window and door openings with pointed hood moulds, stone sills, and pointed foliated window panes. Originally a frame building, and bricked over in 1899.
