RL3-0 · Residential Low (RL3-0)
RL3-0 is the Town of Oakville's Residential Low (RL3-0) zone under Zoning By-law 2014-014. It applies to 362 zone polygons covering about 594 hectares, mostly in Bronte, Old Oakville, Eastlake. 40 of them carry a special provision and 1 carry a holding symbol. The rules for the zone are in the by-law's Residential zones (Part 6).

Special provisions, holding symbols and growth areas
A special provision (sp) changes the zone’s rules for that site; a holding symbol (H) keeps development from proceeding until the Town lifts it. Both are set out in the by-law, which is the only place their terms are written.

What the zone permits
The permitted uses, setbacks, lot coverage and heights for RL3-0 are set out in Residential zones (Part 6) of Zoning By-law 2014-014. OakvilleIQ does not paraphrase them: a site-specific special provision, a holding symbol or a later amendment can change what applies to one lot, and only the Town’s zoning certificate is binding.
