History

Before 1900, the Pickard family, early settlers in Bronte, lived in the house. The house was later owned by the Bray family of fishermen. The structure sits on a historically important block within the Bronte area and faces Bronte Harbour. Its construction is a reminder of the stonehooking days in Bronte.

1 storey building constructed of local Dundas shale stonehooked from the lake nearby. Medium gable roof exhibiting a plain frieze and eaves. Windows are flat in shape with plain lintels.
