History

St. Jude's Cemetery. Significant as a rural 19th-century church cemetery. This lot was purchased in 1853 by St. Jude's Church for the development of a rectory and cemetery. A large rectory known as 'Holyrood' was constructed on the south portion of the original lot closer to Lake Ontario. The cemetery continues to serve the congregation of St. Jude's Church.
