How this list is made
The Town of Oakville publishes a facilities layer as open data: one point per named facility, with the Town’s own label for what it is. OakvilleIQ attaches each point to the park whose outline contains it and counts a park here when at least one of its points carries the label “Information kiosk”. A park is listed once however many such facilities it has; the park’s page shows the count and the names.
The list is only as complete as the layer. The Town’s fuller parks inventory records more detail (court counts, playground age ranges, seasons) but is not in the open-data catalogue, so it is not used. A park missing from this list may still have an information kiosk; check the Town’s parks pages before setting out.
