The details

What is happening

The Town of Oakville has confirmed its 2026 Santa Claus Parade for Saturday 14 November, with the theme “North Pole Sweets and Treats.” The Town runs the parade in partnership with a volunteer committee and the business community, and it goes ahead rain or shine. Applications to take part opened on 16 September.

How to take part

There are two ways to be in the parade: entering a band, float or walking group, or volunteering on the day. Each has its own deadline, and both are weeks before the Town publishes the route. Everyone taking part must attend a mandatory pre-parade meeting on 12 November.
