Oakville development changes

The source is the Town of Oakville’s public planning-application data. Each time OakvilleIQ refreshes that data it writes a dated snapshot, then compares the two most recent snapshots and reports the changes at the project level — grouping an official-plan amendment, a rezoning and a subdivision for one site into a single project, so one redevelopment is not counted as three changes.

Two dates are kept apart: the Town milestone date is the Town’s own record of when something happened; the observed date is the refresh in which OakvilleIQ first saw it, and can be later. A change appearing here means the public record changed between two checks; the absence of a change does not guarantee nothing happened between them. OakvilleIQ never infers a status the Town has not published.
