History

Originally built during the early 20th century possibly on another site and then moved to its current location around 1920. The property had a number of owners including William Sinclair Davis, one of Oakville’s wealthiest men who bought the property in 1920. The rear wing was built c.1940.

Heritage attributes

One-and-a-half storey frame house built in the Classic Revival Style. The house has a gable roof with deep wood cornice with simple eave returns. The house has historic 6/6 wood windows and a front door with ornate wood architrave.
