History

Property was originally owned by William Chisholm and then in 1839 it was sold to his son, John Alexander Chisholm followed by John's wife, Sarah and then her son Charles Pettit Chisholm in 1891. The house was built by Charles between 1891 and 1894.

Heritage attributes

Gable ends are faced with decorative wooden shingles. Enormous bargeboards are composed of complex geometric design with fans, quatrefoils and sunburst patterns.
