The Town of Oakville has posted its facility closures and service changes for the Thanksgiving long weekend. Most Town facilities close only on Thanksgiving Monday, October 12, but libraries, seniors' centres and the performing arts centre close for longer.

Oakville Transit is running its holiday service schedule on Monday, October 12, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Town directs riders to the Oakville Transit website for route details.
Reporting a problem over the weekend
For emergencies involving roads, traffic lights and signs, parks and trees, or flooding and storms outside ServiceOakville's hours, the Town says to call 905-845-6601 to reach its after-hours dispatch service. Non-urgent issues can be reported through the Town's online services tool.
